According to Football Transfers, Federico Chiesa is keen on a move to the Premier League. The €60 million-rated Liverpool target feels unsettled in Turin and has been unable to break into Massimiliano Allegri’s plans since returning from a serious knee injury.
Federico Chiesa was considered a top prospect when he started creating waves in Serie A. Juventus wasted no time in acquiring him via a two-year loan. They only signed the attacker permanently last summer, paying €40 million to Fiorentina.
He has managed 94 appearances, scoring 22 times, but something has changed since returning from a serious knee injury. Chiesa has been unable to convince Massimiliano Allegri, who did not prefer him to start many games last season.
Juventus plunged into further trouble following their ban from European competitions next season. The club will look to sell some of their prized players, with Chiesa at the top of their list. The Bianconeri want €60 million to sell him, with Chelsea one of the sides interested.
Liverpool have already shelved any plans to bring Chiesa, with the price tag being the issue. Jurgen Klopp had admired the Italian international but may feel satisfied with his attacking options rather than spending €60 million.

Recent reports have pointed at Chelsea looking for a wide attacker despite having plenty of new options. Paulo Dybala was the name mentioned, but nothing has progressed since. Mauricio Pochettino may look at different options, including Chiesa.
Chiesa, for his part, is reportedly open to signing for a Premier League side, but beyond Chelsea, the interest seems scarce. The winger still holds considerable value in the market, but things could get easier if Juventus reduce their asking price.
Chelsea may try it and bring Chiesa, but a wide attacker is not a priority for Pochettino. They will focus on bringing in a new midfielder and a striker, with some names like Moises Caicedo on their list.
