Real Madrid will reportedly offer a contract worth €50 million per year to Kylian Mbappe when he leaves Paris Saint-Germain.

According to a report by Cadena SER, Real Madrid might have finalised the contract offer for Kylian Mbappe. Los Blancos will offer a five-year deal to the French international worth €50 million per season. In addition, the agreement will have a release clause worth €1 billion, as is customary for all top Real Madrid players.

Kylian Mbappe is approaching his next adventure after confirming he would not sign a new deal with Paris Saint-Germain. The 24-year-old has been with Les Parisiens for half a dozen years. And while he is arguably their best player, he has been a frustrated figure due to the constant failure to win the UEFA Champions League.

The French international was excellent in the 2022/23 season, as he won the Golden Boot at the 2022 FIFA World Cup. In addition, he amassed 41 goals and ten assists in 43 appearances in all competitions. But Mbappe’s PSG future is non-existent, with Real Madrid leading the race to sign him.

An update by Fabrizio Romano (h/t Madrid Xtra) has also suggested that the Merengues are the front-runners to land the World Cup winner. And following the departure of Karim Benzema, the PSG talisman can be the new leader of the Real Madrid attack in the long run.

While the 24-year-old prefers to play on the left flank, he has also been excellent as a striker. So he can be the long-term solution to spearhead the attack for Real Madrid. But the player has categorically rejected the notion he will join Real Madrid this summer. And he wants to honour his PSG contract to recoup a loyalty bonus next summer.

Meanwhile, recent reports have claimed that Liverpool might look to secure Mbappe’s services with a bumper offer. But the French international will likely join Real Madrid instead of any other club. And the Merengues are ready to offer a five-year contract to him worth €50 million per season.

In addition, Mbappe’s contract will contain a release clause of €1 billion, as is customary for any top Real Madrid player. But it is unclear if the World Cup winner will be ready to accept such a deal from Los Blancos when he joins them next year.
