Chelsea are prepared to offer cash plus Christian Pulisic to tempt Juventus into selling Dusan Vlahovic as they ramp up their striker search.

According to Calciomercatoweb, Chelsea are willing to pay a significant fee and include Christian Pulisic in a deal for Dusan Vlahovic. Juventus are adamant about their €80 million valuation of the Serbian striker but could make a compromise if an offer suits their strategy.

Dusan Vlahovic might have decided on his future and may not want to continue with Juventus anymore. After a mixed period since signing from Fiorentina in January 2022, the Serbian has not found his feet in Turin. Moreover, he also shares an unusual relationship with Massimiliano Allegri, which could also play a part,

From how the season went by, it’s clear that Vlahovic doesn’t feature as a key player in Allegri’s strategy. Hence, Juventus have come down to thinking about selling the Serbian for the right price. They are aware of the growing interest from Real Madrid, Manchester United and Chelsea in the 23-year-old, as they want at least €80 million for the striker.

Chelsea are aware of the price tag and are willing to make a €60 million offer, as per the reports. Mauricio Pochettino needs a new striker to begin the season, as the Bleus don’t have a recognised presence up front. They did sign Nicolas Jackson, but the former Villarreal forward may not have the stature of leading the line for the Premier League giants every week yet.

Hence, Chelsea are adamant about signing a new striker, with Vlahovic one of the options explored. The Stamford Bridge outfit knows that €60 million would not suffice Juventus’ requirement and are ready to change their offer.

Chelsea are ready to include Christian Pulisic plus cash for Vlahovic. The USMNT star is ready to quit Stamford Bridge, and AC Milan have remained close to signing the 24-year-old. Juventus have also appreciated Pulisic in the past, but there are questions about whether they would consider him in part-exchange.

Pulisic’s injury record may put question marks on Juventus’ interest. Still, they might sanction the deal if they can extract more cash from Chelsea. The Blues value the 24-year-old American at around €25 million. Still, they could agree to less, which, added to the €60 million for Vlahovic, will take the overall value close to what Juventus want for Vlahovic.
