Christian Pulisic has been linked with a move away from Chelsea this summer, with AC Milan and Lyon keen on signing him.

According to a report from The Athletic, a number of clubs are hoping to sign Christian Pulisic. And Chelsea have already received offers from Italy and France for the American forward. The Blues signed the struggling attacker for €64 million.

Pulisic has struggled for regular game time at Chelsea, and he needs to move on in search of regular game time. Apparently, AC Milan have offered €14 million for the winger and they will face competition from Lyon who have offered €25 million.

The offer from the French club is much more tempting for Chelsea. But it remains to be seen whether they are ready to accept it, especially with Pulisic having an agreement in principle with AC Milan.

Chelsea are likely to be keen on the idea of selling Pulisic this summer. They recently signed Mykhailo Mudryk and Noni Madueke to improve their attacking options. So the USMNT International will not get regular game time next season. It makes sense for the Blues to sell the player right now and recoup some money.

The 24-year-old was regarded as a tremendous talent when he joined Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund in a €64 million deal. However, his development has not progressed as expected owing to the lack of regular football.

Pulisic is still a top-class talent with a bright future ahead of him. And a move away from Chelsea could help him get his career back on track. The 24-year-old is still relatively young and could improve with coaching and experience. It will be interesting to see where the American International ends up.

It is believed that Lyon could have an edge over AC Milan this summer. Chelsea have a good relationship with the French club following the transfer of Malo Gusto. So it will be interesting to see if the two clubs can work out a deal for Pulisic before the summer transfer window closes.

That said, recent reports claim that the player could be keen on a move to Milan instead. Chelsea will look to get rid of most of their fringe players this summer. They have spent a lot of money on new signings and must look to balance the books now.
