Manchester United have already made their final bid to acquire the services of 24-year-old Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount.

According to Rudy Galetti, Manchester United are keen on having Mason Mount in their ranks but are not ready to meet the asking price of Chelsea. The Red Devils’ £55 million offer for the England international is their final offer.

Mount’s future at Chelsea has been uncertain for a while now. And, there are quite a few clubs interested in acquiring his services. The 24-year-old has come through the ranks at the London club and established himself as an integral part of their first team. He has won numerous titles with the Blues. But it seems his time at the club is all set to end.

His contract runs until the end of next season. And, with just one year left, the Blues did try to extend his stay but they couldn’t meet his demands. As a result, they are actively listening to offers and are ready to let him leave for £65 million. Meanwhile, Manchester United are one of the clubs who have been making moves to sign him.

They have submitted multiple bids for the 24-year-old. But, the Blues have rejected all their bids. Erik ten Hag is a big admirer of the England international and wants him at the club ahead of next season. The Dutch manager is keen on strengthening his midfield and believes Mount’s arrival could surely help their cause.

While Manchester United are keen on bolstering their squad, they have a limited purse to work with. As a result, they have decided that their previous bid of £55 million which was rejected by the Blues will be their final bid for the 24-year-old.

Both clubs are all set to meet once again for a final discussion regarding the future of Mount. And, Manchester United are set to make it clear that they are not going to increase their bid for the England international.

The £55 million is the maximum they are willing to spend for his services and the ball is now in Chelsea’s court. The final verdict on United’s pursuit of Mount should be out soon.

United should just walk away and forget mount..too much money for him..but united sells players for cheap because they have no balls and brains to bargain with clubs..united are the bargaining jokes of the football world.yet they are quick to overpay for players..they should learn from Levy and Chelsea bosses how to handle transfer businesses
