Jadon Sancho is reportedly linked with a summer move away from Manchester United, but they will not actively look to sell him.

According to a report from Daily Mail, Manchester United are prepared to sell Jadon Sancho this summer for a fee of around £45 million. But they will not actively look to cash in on the English international.

The England international winger has been a major flop since his big-money arrival from Borussia Dortmund. Manchester United paid £73 million to sign the winger, and he was expected to establish himself as a world-class player for Manchester United.

Instead, Sancho has struggled for regular game time since he moved to the Premier League, and it seems that a move away from Manchester United would be ideal for him. Reports in December suggested that the Red Devils were considering loaning out the English international. But a summer move might still be on the cards.

The England international is still only 23, and he has plenty of time to get his career back on track. A move away from Manchester United will give him a fresh start. As for the Red Devils, they will have to incur massive losses for the attacker this summer.

No club is likely to pay £73 million for the player. So it remains to be seen whether they are keen on paying Manchester United’s reduced asking price of £45 million. Sancho is clearly lacking in confidence and sharpness right now. Manager Erik ten Hag has tried to protect the winger this past season, and he has used the players sparingly.

However, the England international has shown no signs of returning to his best. Perhaps a move away from Old Trafford could give him the lift he needs right now. Meanwhile, Manchester United need to improve their attacking options this summer. Selling Sancho will certainly bring in the necessary funds to invest in another attacker.

Marcus Rashford had to carry the Manchester United attack last season, and the England international will need more support from his teammates next season. The Red Devils must look to sign a quality goalscorer and a winger this summer. And they have shown interest in prolific strikers like Victor Osimhen.

They managed to win the English League Cup last year and they will be hoping to challenge for the league title this time around. They will certainly need better players than Jadon Sancho in order to compete with Manchester City.

While there is no doubt that the former Borussia Dortmund winger is a top-class talent and he could be a key player for most clubs, he is clearly going through a major slump, and it remains to be seen whether he can bounce back strongly.

I would rather sell Antony than Sancho, both have not delivered to expectation.
Get Nicolo if Chelsea are adamant on Mason
