The highly talented defender can play as a right-sided central defender as well as on the left. He is versatile enough to operate as a defensive midfielder as well. The 19-year-old could prove to be a quality long-term investment for Newcastle United. And it will be interesting to see if they can get the deal done.

The Magpies are one of the wealthiest clubs in the world, and they certainly have the finances to convince the Brazilian club to sell the player. Furthermore, the youngster is likely to be tempted to move to the Premier League as well.
