Newcastle United are reportedly in talks with Wolves for Leo Sahar, the 16-year-old English defensive sensation.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Newcastle United are keen to sign 16-year-old English defensive sensation Leo Sahar from Wolverhampton Wanderers. The two clubs are discussing the youngster, with a move looking imminent.

Newcastle United are manoeuvring through their plans to strengthen their first team ahead of one of the most important seasons in their history. Having finished fourth in the Premier League, the Magpies managed Champions League qualification.

With the added responsibility of top-tier European football, the Magpies are busying themselves with important transfer targets for Eddie Howe’s first team. Names include James Maddison, Moussa Diaby and others. While they seek improvements in the short to medium term, the club are not losing focus on future planning.

Newcastle United are scouting for some of the best talents from across the continent and looking to make deals happen. Turkish prodigy Arda Guler remains a firm target, with the Magpies planning on a bid for the 18-year-old. The Fenerbahce starlet has a €17.5 million release clause, which will fall within their budget.

There is also interest in highly-rated midfield talent Desire Doue from Stade Rennais. Now, they are going out for another top talent from England, as Newcastle plot a move for 16-year-old English defensive sensation Leo Sahar.

The Wolves starlet is attracting plenty of attention for his performances with the youth teams at the Midlands club. The Premier League club are aware of the situation and are already in discussions with Newcastle United to finalise a potential move.

It is a good sign from Newcastle to target young English talents to progress their youth sides and develop talents for future first-team action. The Magpies will want to swiftly settle on a price, which will be more on the lines of developmental fees.

Howe can then gauge his talents up close and decide how he wants to accelerate his development. The 16-year-old is likely to come and join up with the youth or academy sides at Newcastle, and based on his performances, the club could fast-track a route into the first-team squad.

I wouldn’t sell Newcastle dog poo, it’s about time they were investigated into how they got past the premiership management test ,still blood money counts and that’s what that smug b’tard however is working in, pity the Leeds fan didn’t do a better job.
Newcastle are operating on the lowest of the low by having owners who represent a country whose human rights record make Adolf Hitler and his henchmen look like saint’s.
