Newcastle United are reportedly keen on signing 23-year-old Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni this summer.
Aurelien Tchouameni joined Real Madrid last summer. But he has not been able to live up to the expectations thus far at the Santiago Bernabeu. A report from Defensa Central claims that Newcastle United are prepared to provide him with an exit route. And the Magpies have tabled a bid worth €80 million to secure his services.
Real Madrid signed Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund this summer, which has raised doubts regarding the long-term future of Tchouameni. Although the 23-year-old Frenchman is a defensive midfielder and Bellingham operates in a different role, there have been speculations that Tchouameni might struggle for regular game time in the coming season.

Although he has not been at his best since his move to Real Madrid from Monaco, he remains a top-class player who has shown his quality from time to time.
