Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Portuguese international striker Goncalo Ramos, a target for Real Madrid.

According to a report from Defensa Central, Manchester United are now plotting a €93 million bid to sign Goncalo Ramos. The 21-year-old striker is also a target for Real Madrid heading into the summer transfer window.

Ramos has established himself as one of the best young strikers around Europe, and he could prove to be a solid long-term acquisition for the Red Devils. Manchester United had to depend on Marcus Rashford for goals this past season. But the England international will need more support from his teammates if the Red Devils are serious about competing for major trophies.

Ramos certainly has the potential to play for a top club like Manchester United, and Erik ten Hag could help him develop into a world-class forward. The Portuguese international amassed 27 goals and 12 assists to his name across all competitions this season.

Meanwhile, he has been linked with Real Madrid as well. It will be interesting to see if Manchester United can fend off the competition from the Spanish giants and secure his services in the summer transfer window.

The opportunity to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world will be an attractive option for the player. So he is likely to be tempted if clubs like Manchester United and Real Madrid come calling.

Meanwhile, the Spanish giants have been linked with the Tottenham striker Harry Kane as well. They are looking to bring in a quality replacement for Karim Benzema, and it would be highly unlikely if they decided to spend big money on a young player like Ramos. They will look for a more established option, and Kane is probably a better bet for them.

Manchester United will certainly fancy their chances of signing the Portuguese international. They can offer him Champions League football next season and have the financial muscle to offer the player a lucrative contract as well.
