Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on acquiring the services of 25-year-old Fulham centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo.

According to Sky Sports, Tottenham Hotspur want to sign Tosin Adarabioyo ahead of next season. The 25-year-old centre-back has a profile that interests their new manager Ange Postecoglu, who has started taking charge of transfers at the club.

Postecoglu is keen on strengthening the Tottenham defender defence ahead of next season. The Australian manager is not satisfied with the number of options they have and wants to bring in more quality. Spurs are looking to make multiple changes to their backline ahead of next season, and they are ready to listen to offers for the services of Davinson Sanchez.

The London club have also lost out on Clement Lenglet, who has returned to Barcelona post his loan spell. However, they might be prepared to fork out a cut-price sum to sign the French centre-back permanently.

With Sanchez all set to leave and Lenglet back at Barcelona, Tottenham need reinforcement in the heart of the defence. And, the profile of the 25-year-old seems to be a great fit for the club according to their new manager. Spurs are looking for a homegrown player who has the experience of playing in the Premier League, and Adarabioyo seems to tick all the boxes.

His contract at Fulham expires in the summer of 2024. While the initial deal was set to expire at the end of the ongoing month, the Cottagers triggered the option to extend it by another 12 months earlier this year. With just a year left on his deal, this is Fulham’s final opportunity to make some cash by offloading him.

While the West London club do want to extend his stay further, the player is keen on trying a new challenge. As a result, the Cottagers might consider letting the 25-year-old leave in the summer rather than losing out on his for free in 12 months’ time. Adarabioyo is one of the centre-back targets for Tottenham who are looking to build a team good enough to win important titles.
