Joao Felix will not remain at Chelsea beyond the expiry of his loan deal. The 22-year-old attacker and the rest of his Blues teammates endured a torrid season. The Portuguese international arrived in January on a six-month deal, which was expensive financially.
Chelsea had considered speaking with Atletico and plotting a permanent move for Felix earlier. The arrival of Mauricio Pochettino has had a change of plans.
