Serie A giants Inter Milan and Juventus have asked Barcelona about a summer move for Ferran Torres, whose market value is €30 million.

According to a report by Spanish outlet SPORT, Inter Milan and Juventus are keen on signing Ferran Torres. And the two Serie A clubs have submitted enquiries over a possible deal for the Barcelona enquiry. The Spanish winger will likely depart from Spotify Camp Nou in the summer transfer window.

Ferran Torres has endured a topsy-turvy ride since leaving Valencia nearly three years ago. The 23-year-old seemed to have struck gold when he joined Manchester City. But his stint with the Premier League champions prematurely ended as he wanted to return to Spain. And Barcelona snapped him up in January last year.

The Spanish international has been in and out of the Barcelona starting lineup in the last 16 months. And he has featured from the get-go only 17 times thus far this term, managing seven goals and three assists in all outings. Meanwhile, with Barcelona’s financial situation not improving, a summer departure might be on the cards.

The Catalan giants are keen on re-signing Lionel Messi in the summer transfer window. And while an agreement between the two parties is close, Barcelona cannot secure Messi’s services unless they balance the books. Torres has thus emerged as one of the players who might leave Barcelona this summer. And the Spaniard is a target for Serie A clubs Inter Milan and Juventus, with both sides approaching Barcelona.

The Barcelona winger, whose market value is €30 million, can be a solid addition to the Inter Milan squad. The Serie A giants lack an attacker who can swing games with his directness in the final third. And the 23-year-old can be the solution to those issues at Inter Milan.

As for Juventus, the disgraced Serie A giants view Torres as a successor to Angel Di Maria. The veteran Argentine attacker might leave the Bianconeri in the summer transfer window. And the former Real Madrid winger is interestingly a target for Barcelona. Torres can be a viable candidate to replace the 35-year-old and be a long-term wide-attacking solution for Juventus.

The two Serie A clubs have submitted enquiries to Barcelona for Torres. And the Catalan giants are open to parting ways with the Spanish international in the summer transfer window. But it will be interesting to see if the 23-year-old is open to leaving the Blaugrana to embark on an adventure in Italy.
