Chelsea are interested in acquiring the services of 20-year-old Sturm Graz forward Emanuel Emegha in the summer.

According to a report by Foot Mercato, Chelsea are interested in signing Emanuel Emegha ahead of next season. The 20-year-old has made a name for himself of late, and there are quite a few clubs following his progress.

Emegha came through the ranks at Sparta Rotterdam before making a move to Royal Antwerp in the winter of 2022. In six months’ time, Austrian club Sturm Graz came calling and the 20-year-old decided to make another switch.

He has done wonders since joining the Austrian club. The Dutch Under-20 star has featured in 32 matches for Sturm Graz. He has found the back of the net nine times and also has five assists to his name.

Emegha’s performances have not gone unnoticed. Despite having a contract that runs until the summer of 2026, the 20-year-old could be on the move in the summer given the amount of interest in his services.

Chelsea are one of the big clubs keen on having him in their ranks. The Blues have invested a fortune in signing young players over the last few transfer windows. And, they intend to do something similar in the summer.

Chelsea are looking to sign a new forward in the upcoming transfer window. They have struggled for goals of late, and signing a new striker in the summer is one of their priorities. However, they want to add Emegha to their ranks as a rotational option who can become a regular in the future.

Chelsea are impressed with what they have seen from the Dutch Under-20 star. And, his profile is quite a unique one; as a result, they want to push for his signatures. The 20-year-old is tall and fast-paced at the same time.

His athletic abilities interest the people at the club. While there are a few other clubs who are interested in Emegha’s services. Chelsea are one of the biggest and given the type of transfers they have managed to pull off in the recent past, it might not be a surprise to see the 20-year-old at Stamford Bridge in the summer.
