Arsenal and Chelsea have submitted an enquiry for the services of 23-year-old Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic.

According to Calciomercato, Arsenal and Chelsea are keen on having Dusan Vlahovic in their ranks. The 23-year-old’s future at Juventus is uncertain despite joining them in the winter of 2022. And, there are quite a few clubs who would love to have Vlahovic at their disposal. Meanwhile, the Bianconeri want around €80 million to part ways with the youngster.

The Serbian international came through the ranks at Partizan before joining Fiorentina back in the summer of 2018. He went from strength to strength while playing in Florence. The 23-year-old became a highly sought-after player, and quite a few clubs were willing to splash the cash on him.

Juventus won the race for his signatures as they paid around €80 million to Fiorentina. Vlahovic has featured in 57 matches for the Old Lady, and he has been involved in 26 goals. The Serbian international has found the back of the net on 20 occasions and has six assists to his name.

While he has scored his share of goals, the 23-year-old has struggled with injuries and has had the impact he was expected to have on the club. He has featured in 36 matches in the ongoing season and has only scored 11 goals.

While his contract with Juventus runs until the summer of 2026, he could be on the move in the upcoming transfer window. His future will depend on the club’s judicial as well as financial future. And, to some extent, it will also depend on the Serb’s desire.

In the past, Vlahovic has expressed his desire of playing in the Premier League. And, Chelsea and Arsenal are ready to offer him a deal if he intends to make a move in the summer. Both the clubs have held talks with his representatives. And, if there is an opportunity, they will pounce on it.

The Blues have struggled for goals in the ongoing season. They are on the lookout for a new number nine and would love to have Dusan Vlahovic in their ranks. But, first, they will have to offload a few of their stars before pushing for his signatures.

While the Gunners do have Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah, their manager Mikel Arteta is keen on having a more physical number nine in his ranks, someone who brings in a bring skillset to his squad. And, the 23-year-old fits the bill according to Arteta.

While Chelsea and Arsenal are ready in the background looking for opportunities, it will all depend on Juventus. And, at the moment the Old Lady fear that they will not be able to recover the €80 million they invested on him. And, as a result, his departure might depend on his performances in the remainder of the season and the bid the Italian giants receive.
