West Ham United are interested in signing Manchester United full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka amid interest from Crystal Palace.

According to a report by Football Insider, West Ham United are keen on having Aaron Wan-Bissaka in their ranks. The 25-year-old’s future at Old Trafford is uncertain, and he is likely to part ways with Manchester United in the summer. As a result, the Hammers are keen on placing a bid for the former Crystal Palace full-back.

Wan-Bissaka started off at the youth academy of Crystal Palace. He came through the ranks at the club and became a key figure in the first team over the years. His impressive performances for the Eagles drew quite a lot of interest from other big clubs. And, eventually Manchester United bought him for £50 million in the summer of 2019.

The 25-year-old has since gone from strength to strength, making 149 first-team appearances and contributing to 13 goals. But, of late, things have not gone in his favour. The 25-year-old has lost his starting spot to Portugal’s Diogo Dalot.

Wan-Bissaka started the Erik ten Hag era with an injury and saw himself sit out in the initial phase. Dalot made sure he showcased enough on the pitch to make himself a regular starter. While the former Crystal Palace full-back has revived himself of late, he is almost certain to leave in the summer as Manchester United explore the market for an attacking full-back.

His former club Crystal Palace are keen on having him back in their ranks. They have had quite a bit of trouble on the right side of their defence and Wan-Bissaka’s arrival could surely help their cause. The 25-year-old’s arrival will bolster their squad and allow them to take the next step under Roy Hodgson.

However, it won’t be that easy a task to land the £50 million Manchester United star at the club as West Ham United are also interested in his services. The Hammers are looking to sign a new right-back ahead of next season. And, they have their eyes set on Wan-Bissaka.
