Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has been linked with a summer move to Serie A heavyweights Juventus.

According to a report from Fichajes, Juventus are interested in signing 27-year-old Spanish goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea during the summer transfer window.

Chelsea have been linked with a number of goalkeepers in recent weeks. And it will be interesting to see if they are prepared to sell the Spaniard in the coming months. Kepa Arrizabalaga has been a key player for Graham Potter, and his distribution skills have made him the first-choice goalkeeper at the club ahead of Edouard Mendy.

Meanwhile, Mendy has been linked with a move away from Chelsea as well. The experienced goalkeeper has fallen down the pecking order, and he needs to leave in order to play regularly. It would be quite surprising if Chelsea decided to sell both goalkeepers in the same window.

Meanwhile, Juventus are looking to bring in a quality goalkeeper, and they have identified the €80 million Chelsea star as the ideal replacement for players like Wojciech Szczesny. The Serie A outfit are going through financial difficulties, and it will be interesting to see if they can afford a player like Kepa.

The Spaniard cost a world record €80 million fee for a goalkeeper when he joined Chelsea. And the Blues will be looking to recoup a significant amount of money for him if Juventus come calling at the end of the season. Furthermore, the Serie A giants will have to secure Champions League qualification as well.

Juventus are currently out of the Champions League position after a 15-point deduction. They will need Champions League football to attract top players, and it remains to be seen where they finish in the league table.

The Spanish goalkeeper has attracted a lot of criticism for his performances since joining Chelsea. But he has found a new lease of life under new manager Graham Potter, and his performances have been quite impressive over the last few months. It remains to be seen whether the 27-year-old is prepared for a new challenge at the end of the season.
