Barcelona might part ways with 26-year-old Brazilian forward Raphinha, whose market value is €50 million, this summer.

According to a report by Spanish outlet Fichajes, Raphinha might not be at Spotify Camp Nou this time next year. Barcelona might cash in on the 26-year-old attacker in the summer transfer window to balance the books. And the player has a market value of €50 million.

Raphinha completed a dream move when he joined Barcelona from Leeds United last summer. The Brazilian international was a talismanic figure for the Whites and became a hot property in the Premier League. And high-profile clubs like Arsenal and Chelsea were keen on signing him. But he eventually chose to snub the English outfits to move to Barcelona.

The 26-year-old was not at his electric best in the first half of the 2022/23 season and fell down the pecking order. That led to rumours ahead of the January transfer window that Barcelona might cash in on him. However, Raphinha’s performance levels have improved significantly in the last few weeks.

The Brazilian attacker has a decent tally of eight goals and nine assists in 36 appearances thus far. And Raphinha’s market value value has also risen to €50 million. But despite the improvement in performance levels, Raphinha’s long-term Barcelona future is not set in stone.

The report claims that Barcelona might sell at least one of Raphinha, Ferran Torres, and Ansu Fati. Among the trio, Fati has the highest market value, with recent reports claiming Barcelona might demand around €100 million for him. But the Brazilian international’s future also remains uncertain.

Arsenal attempted to sign the 26-year-old in the January transfer window. And recent reports have linked him with Newcastle United. And Barcelona will likely demand more than his market value of €50 million after spending €58 million to secure his services. But Raphinha will aim to secure his future with more game-changing performances in the coming weeks.

For now, Raphinha, Ferran Torres, and Ansu Fati will be eagerly waiting to make their mark for Barcelona. And it will be interesting to see if all three players can secure their long-term futures. But with Barcelona in the doldrums, one high-profile sale will be on the cards.
