Premier League leaders Arsenal are interested in 22-year-old Brazilian winger Luiz Henrique and will be scouting him for a potential move in the summer.

According to a report by GiveMeSport, Arsenal have their eyes on Luiz Henrique. The Gunners are all set to scout the 22-year-old next week when he travels to Old Trafford for an away fixture in the Europa League. The Real Betis winger has attracted a lot of attention because of his impressive performances of late.

Henrique joined the Spanish club back in July from Fluminense. Betis spent around £7 million to acquire his services. His contract with the club ends in the summer of 2028. But, because of the interest from across Europe, he might leave them just a year after joining.

The Brazilian winger came into the limelight after an impressive outing against AS Roma in the Europa League group stage back in October. Henrique showed his class with a goal and assist in their 2-1 win against Jose Mourinho’s men.

The 22-year-old has been impressive in the limited opportunities that he has had since arriving at the club. He has featured in 30 matches and has eight goal contributions to his name. Henrique has had over 1,800 minutes in the ongoing season. And, he has showcased glimpses of the potential he possesses.

Consistency is something that he will have to work on. But the 22-year-old surely has time for that. He is set to have an extended run in the team until the end of the season due to injuries to Nabil Fekir and Sergio Canales.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are interested in signing the Brazilian winger. Mikel Arteta has done a wonderful job with the Gunners. They are leading the Premier League race and are all set to return to the UEFA Champions League after seven long years.

The Gunners’ boss will look to add more quality to his ranks ahead of next season as they look to take the next step. They will head into the market for more quality and have identified Henrique as a possible target.

The arrival of the 22-year-old Brazilian winger will add more squad depth and allow Arteta to rotate his attackers. However, they are not the only club interested in his services. They will face competition from Aston Villa and West Ham United.

The Premier League clubs are all set to scout the talented Brazilian winger next week. Real Betis will travel to Old Trafford to square up against Manchester United in the Europa League Round of 16 fixture. And, the interested club are set to use it as an opportunity to scout the Brazilian winger.
