Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing 22-year-old Ajax star Mohammed Kudus ahead of next season.
According to a report by Football Insider, Manchester United are keen on bringing Mohammed Kudus to Old Trafford in the summer. Erik ten Hag is interested in a reunion with the player and wants him in his ranks. The Red Devils have identified him as a potential target and are all set to push for his signature in the summer.
The Manchester United manager is a fan of the 22-year-old and believes adding him to their ranks could do wonders. Kudus has had an impressive season so far. And a lot of clubs have their eyes on him. But, as per the report, Manchester United have already established the first contact to sign the Ajax forward.
The 22-year-old joined Ajax back in the summer of 2020 from Nordsjaelland. Ever since his arrival at the club, he has gone from strength to strength. Kudus has made a total of 74 appearances for the Dutch side and has 28 goal contributions.
The Ghana international has picked up the pace in the ongoing season. He has been very impressive in the final third and his performances have not gone unnoticed.
The 22-year-old attacker has 19 goal contributions in the ongoing season. He has found the back of the net on 16 occasions while playing for the Dutch club. Kudus also had an impressive World Cup campaign. He is expected to get even better in the years to come.
Kudus’s contract at Ajax ends in the summer of 2025. But, with the amount of interest from across Europe, it looks like he might be on the move ahead of next season. Meanwhile, Manchester United are one of the clubs that are interested in his services. And they have already contacted his entourage.
The Red Devils are set to return to the UEFA Champions League next season. And, they will also push for the Premier League title, which is why bringing in reinforcement is a must. They are in search of a proper forward ahead of next season. Manchester United want to add someone who can share the goalscoring load with Marcus Rashford.

Erik ten Hag wants the Ajax attacker in his ranks. He is desperate to add a striker, and Kudus fits the bill. He can also feature on the right wing and as an attacking midfielder. The Ghana international’s arrival at Old Trafford will give ten Hag a lot of options to work with. And as a result, they are ready to pay £48 million for the 22-year-old attacker.
