Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United are reportedly keen on signing Kendry Paez.

A report from 90min claims that all three Premier League clubs have been in touch with the midfielder’s representatives regarding a potential move.

The 15-year-old caught the attention of a number of clubs with his performances in the Next-Generation trophy where he helped Independiente Del Valle reach the finals. Paez is apparently a target for European giants like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, and Bayern Munich as well.

Paez is regarded as the next big thing in Ecuadorian football and he has a big future ahead of him. He has the potential to develop into a key player for the three Premier League clubs.

The report adds that Independiente have already turned down a number of offers for the highly-rated midfielder and Chelsea have had a bid knocked back for the player as well.

Meanwhile, the three Premier League clubs will be hoping to beat the competition from the European giants and sign the 15-year-old. Paez will not be able to move to Europe until he is 18 and therefore any move would only happen in 2025.

Independiente helped nurture Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo during his time at the Ecuadorian club and he has proven to be a major hit in the Premier League. Paez will be hoping to follow in his footsteps and establish himself as a Premier League star in the coming years.

The likes of Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester United have a proven track record of improving young players, and joining a big club could accelerate the 15-year-old’s development.

Managers like Graham Potter, Erik ten Hag, and Jurgen Klopp would have a significant impact on his growth as a footballer.

Manchester City and Newcastle United have spoken to the player’s representatives as well and they are monitoring the youngster’s progress.

It will be interesting to see where the in-demand youngster ends up. He needs to join a club where he will get ample first-team opportunities and he needs to play for a manager who will put his faith in the midfielder’s ability and allow him to develop at his own pace.
