Juventus have their eyes set on Mateo Kovacic of Chelsea and are ready to offer Denis Zakaria in a part-exchange deal.

Juventus are all set to offer Denis Zakaria to Chelsea in order to land Croatian midfielder Mateo Kovacic. According to a report by Calciomercatoweb, the Serie A giants want to strengthen their midfield next summer by signing Kovacic. They are willing to offer Zakaria to the English club in return.

Denis Zakaria is currently on loan at Chelsea, but the 26-year-old is set to return to the Italian club in the summer when his loan move expires. However, Juventus are planning to offer him to Chelsea and in a deal to sign Mateo Kovacic.

Zakaria joined Chelsea on loan back in September 2022. Since his arrival at the club, he has featured in just nine games and has a goal to his name. While he might not be a starter at the club, the Blues might still love to have him in the squad keeping in mind the number of tournaments they feature in. The 26-year-old is a quality player. He can surely have an impact in the centre of the park when given an opportunity.

The Serie A giants are looking for a midfield revamp. And a few players are on the verge of leaving the club. They won’t be featuring in the Champions League after being handed a 15-point penalty by FIGC for unfair financial practices. The Bianconeri were third on the table, but the deduction has pushed them back to tenth place. And, making it to the top four is now an impossible task.
