Liverpool and Manchester City are the favourites to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham, a target for Real Madrid.

According to a report from Daily Star, Jude Bellingham is set to reject the opportunity to sign a new contract with Borussia Monchengladbach in the hope of securing a big move this summer. The Bundesliga giants are reportedly prepared to offer him £180,000 per week so that he can sign an extension with them. But the 19-year-old England international is keen on a move.

Manchester City and Liverpool are reportedly leading the charge for the highly-talented midfielder, who is on the radar of Spanish giants Real Madrid as well. Both Premier League clubs are keeping tabs on his situation.

It will be interesting to see if Liverpool and Manchester City are willing to pay the asking price in the summer. Bellingham is reportedly valued at £150 million, and he would be an exceptional signing for most teams around the world.

Manchester City are one of the richest clubs in the world, and they certainly have the finances to afford the England international. With Ilkay Gundogan yet to sign a new contract, Bellingham could be the ideal replacement for Manchester City.

The transfer case of Bellingham is like a marriage tale of certain qualified guys, demanding the hand of a gorgeous princess in marriage.
