Chelsea have agreed on a deal to sign Noni Madueke from PSV Eindhoven for €35 million, with the attacker set to sign a long-term contract.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea and PSV Eindhoven have agreed on a deal to transfer Noni Madueke. The Blues have chased the winger for a few days now and are about to bring him to Stamford Bridge in a €35 million move.

Chelsea are still working on their transfer business as the spending spree continues. Noni Madueke is the latest player to join the Blues, and this signing could close the chapter on attacking reinforcements. But they may continue to focus on other areas of their squad before the window shuts.

After completing a move for Mykhaylo Mudryk, some may have thought Chelsea have sufficient wide attackers in their squad. But the Blues have now gone on to sign another winger.

Chelsea have agreed on a deal with PSV Eindhoven for Noni Madueke. The English winger will arrive at Stamford Bride for a fee of around €35 million. The length of his contract remains undisclosed at this stage. But he will become their fifth signing of this window.

After concluding the Mudryk deal, Chelsea swiftly turned their attention towards Madueke. The Blues considered the 20-year-old winger important to their plans, but there was the question of convincing PSV to sell. The Dutch giants had already sold Cody Gakpo earlier to Liverpool and did not need to sell further.

Chelsea convinced their Dutch counterparts, and the player is already on his way to London. He will undergo his medicals and other formalities. If they manage to register him in time on Friday, the 20-year-old winger could participate in Chelsea’s game against Liverpool on Saturday.

Before the Blues sealed the signing, Madueke had plenty of interest from London sides, including former club Tottenham. He may have opted to join Chelsea for their exciting future project, as with many other recent young arrivals.

Madueke could prove an exciting signing for Chelsea as the club continues to struggle for goals this season. He could compete with Christian Pulisic and Raheem Sterling for a starting berth and bring some much-needed energy to this team.
