La Liga champions Real Madrid have reportedly prepared a package worth €135 million to sign Jude Bellingham, a target for Liverpool.

According to a report by El Debate, Real Madrid will soon present an offer to sign Jude Bellingham. The reigning La Liga champions are ready to present a package worth €135 million. This proposal will include a base fee of €100 million plus €20 million in add-ons and €15 million in commissions. The English international is also a target for Liverpool.

Jude Bellingham has the world at his feet despite still being in his teens. The teenage prodigy is one of the best midfielders in the Bundesliga, going from strength to strength since joining Borussia Dortmund two and a half years ago. And his stock has skyrocketed since breaking into the English national squad.

The 19-year-old is a pivotal figure for the Three Lions and was one of the best players at the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Bellingham has also been top-notch at the club level this season, amassing nine goals and three assists in 22 appearances. Meanwhile, the player’s progress has captured the attention of Real Madrid and Liverpool.

At Real Madrid, Carlo Ancelotti views Bellingham as a long-term successor to Luka Modric. While the veteran Croat has aged like fine wine, he is well into his thirties. So Real Madrid will need to bring in a long-term midfield solution, bringing Bellingham into the picture. Recent reports claimed that they were preparing a lucrative contract offer for the 19-year-old.

The report by El Debate now adds that the reigning La Liga champions have prepared a package worth €135 million. Real Madrid will offer a base fee worth €100 million, with €20 million being add-ons and €15 million comprising commissions. And Los Blancos will hope to beat Liverpool with such a proposal.

Real Madrid might have a clear run at Bellingham anyway, with recent reports pointing to Liverpool moving on from the English international. But widespread reports have been painting a contrasting picture of Liverpool’s interest. So they might still be keen on signing the Dortmund midfielder.

For now, it will be interesting to see if the package worth €135 million does the trick for Real Madrid. Goal recently suggested that Bellingham wants to join Real Madrid instead of Liverpool. And all signs point towards the 19-year-old English international moving to the Bernabeu next year.
