Liverpool, Manchester United, and Tottenham are keeping tabs on Preston North End’s highly-rated teenager Felipe Rodriguez-Gentile.

According to Daily Mirror, Preston North End’s highly-rated 16-year-old Argentine prodigy Felipe Rodriguez-Gentile is a target for a host of Premier League clubs. The youngster recently grabbed headlines with a five-goal showing in an FA Youth Cup game, attracting many suitors.

Felipe Rodriguez-Gentile is a highly-rated 16-year-old Argentine prodigy plying his trade at Preston North End. He has put accomplished displays for the Championship side’s youth teams and is steadily making progress toward their first team squad.

A recent FA Youth Cup performance against Rotherham United saw Rodriguez-Gentile score five goals as Preston won 6-1. His display had Preston manager Ryan Lowe hinting at calling the 16-year-old Argentine prodigy to the first-team squad and maybe developing him for future appearances.

Rodriguez-Gentile has already agreed on a two-year scholarship with Preston, which at least secures his immediate future. And some of the top clubs from the Premier League are circling the 16-year-old Argentine prodigy with a view to sign him up.

Liverpool, Manchester United, and Tottenham are among the teams keeping tabs on Rodriguez-Gentile ahead of approaching Preston with a possible offer. The Championship outfit want to keep him on board and develop the player into a future first-team star.

Jurgen Klopp has steadily signed some promising youngsters from other clubs and given them ample chances to progress in the first team. Fabio Carvalho and Harvey Elliott are prime examples of prodigious teenagers flourishing within the Liverpool setup, which makes them an attractive destination.

In the chase for 16-year-old Argentine prodigy Rodriguez-Gentile, Liverpool face competition from Manchester United. The Red Devils are open to adding new players to their youth setup and developing them into first-team stars. Players like Alejandro Garnacho and Anthony Elanga are some of the names coming through the youth system. And the Preston teenager could have a similar path.

They are reportedly rivalled by neighbors Manchester City and Tottenham, among other Premier League clubs. Spurs could have a particular interest, especially if they lose promising teenager Mikey Moore to Chelsea in the coming windows. They might see Rodriguez-Gentine as the ideal replacement in the attack.

In the current climate, signing the 16-year-old Argentine prodigy could prove difficult for Premier League sides. Personal commitments aside, Preston are showing they want to keep Rodriguez-Gentile for the foreseeable future and could even accelerate his move into the first-team setup.
