Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing 30-year-old Brazilian international Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season.

According to Simon Phillips, as relayed by Tribal Football, Todd Boehly met with the representatives of Neymar during the 2022 FIFA World Cup. And the Chelsea co-owner is considering signing the 30-year-old Brazilian international at the end of the season.

Apparently, Neymar could be open to a move away from Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season. And it will be interesting to see if Chelsea can agree on a fee with the French club.

Neymar has a contract with PSG until the summer of 2025, and he is unlikely to be a cheap option. Chelsea will probably have to pay a club record fee in order to sign the 30-year-old during the summer transfer window.

Neymar has been in fantastic form this season, scoring 17 goals and picking up 13 assists across all competitions for club and country. He could transform Chelsea in the final third, and it would be a sensational coup for the Premier League giants if they managed to pull it off.

The Brazilian international is a world-class player who has the ability to win matches on his own, and he could help Chelsea challenge for major trophies. Neymar has already proven himself in La Liga and Ligue 1.

The opportunity to move to the Premier League could be a tempting proposition for the 30-year-old attacker. And it remains to be seen whether he is keen on moving to Chelsea. Graham Potter will have to improve his attacking options in order to compete with clubs like Manchester City and someone like Neymar could help them bridge that gap.

The Blues have been quite poor in the Premier League this season, and they are struggling to score goals. They will need to improve during the second half of the season in order to ensure UEFA Champions League qualification. Signing a world-class player like Neymar would come as a major boost to the whole club.

The Brazilian international is unlikely to join a club without Champions League football, and it will be interesting to see if Chelsea can secure a top-four finish over the next few months. But Chelsea have several attackers on their radar, including Dusan Vlahovic.
