Juventus want to lure Diogo Dalot to Italy, with Massimiliano Allegri dreaming of signing the Manchester United right-back.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, as relayed by Sport Witness, Juventus are keeping a track of Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot. The youngster has been Erik ten Hag’s preferred choice since the start of this season. But Massimiliano Allegri dreams of having the Portuguese international at the Allianz Stadium.

Diogo Dalot has garnered significant admirers after outnumbering all of his contenders for the right-back position at Manchester United. The 23-year-old had not really been stamped his authority earlier. But Erik ten Hag has worked tirelessly on the development of the player, and the result is quite evident.

Dalot’s contractual situation has served a great amount of speculation as the young defender will enter the final six months of his contract in January. A one-year extension clause is there to protect his value. But the Red Devils are pursuing to reach far greater heights.

It is suggested Dalot is one of the lowest-paid players at the club who pockets to the tune of £25,000 per week. And should he commit his future to Manchester United, he will get a hefty pay rise. He is quite happy, and Manchester United will initiate new contract talks as soon as possible.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano too confirmed this development. “Manchester United are trying to find a solution for Wan-Bissaka in order to let him leave. Wolves, West Ham and Crystal Palace remain interested. Main priority on right-back situation remains to extend Dalot’s contract. Talks will take place soon.”

Aaron Wan-Bissaka remains on the periphery of the Manchester United squad. And the former Crystal Palace defender could be on his way out, with both Wolverhampton Wanderers and Leeds United vying for his signature.

Meanwhile, Juventus will likely lose both Danilo and Juan Cuadrado in the summer unless they decide to offer them fresh terms. A new right-back will be the priority for the Serie A giants, and Dalot fits the criteria perfectly.

The Bianconeri have improved their performances after their horrendous start and currently, they are occupying the third position in the table. The Serie A giants will try to push for a move for Dalot. But Manchester United are convinced the Portuguese international is their long-term solution going forward.
