Leeds United are considering an approach for Manchester United outcast Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the winter transfer window.

As per Caught Offside, Aaron Wan-Bissaka is attracting interest from Leeds United who are ready to raid United to acquire the service of the right back. The 25-year-old has struggled to nail down a spot in the first team and will be allowed to leave for the right price.

Erik ten Hag has prioritized an attacking-minded fullback since he took over the charge and Diogo Dalot has gone on to establish his significance this season. The Portuguese has emerged as a core member in ten Hag’s setup while Wan-Bissaka has been handed very limited game time.

United paid close to £50 million to Crystal Palace for his service but are aware that they would be unable to recoup the entire amount and will be ready to forego a massive amount to facilitate a transfer.

For Leeds, Stuart Dallas is yet to play a single match for an injury while Jesse Marsch doesn’t really rate Luke Ayling as it stands. Rasmus Kristensen has been the preferred choice for the American manager but he needs adequate cover for that position venturing forward into the season.

Both the archrivals have had transfer activities between them for many years and if a deal can be agreed Wan-Bissaka could don the Whites jersey next month without any backlash from the supporters.

Wolves have also been monitoring his movement as new manager Julen Lopetegui has targeted the player to shore up his defence. The former U-21 England player is one of the best defenders in the Premier League and the Midland giants could be ready to step up their interest in the player.

His £80,000 wage per week could be a stumbling block but a loan deal should serve the way. United would be reluctant to bear part of his wages and Leeds should have no pressing issues financially.

Wan-Bissaka received an England call-up in 2019 but he never made his debut as an injury blocked him from making his Three Lions bow. Since then the defender has not been able to book a place in the England squad and it is even suggested he can switch his allegiance to the Democratic Republic of Congo.
