Tottenham Hotspur are watching Torino right-back Wilfried Singo and will take the necessary steps to present the player in north London next month.

According to Tuttosport, as relayed by Sport Witness, Tottenham Hotspur are believed to be getting a deal done for Torino right-back Wilfried Singo and could make an offer next month. The Premier League giants want a new player to compete for the right-back position. And the 21-year-old is available for up to €12 million.

Spurs are pretty fortunate still to be in the top-four race as their recent performances have not been that convincing. The north Londoners have lost three out of their last five matches in the Premier League.

Antonio Conte has been promised sufficient funds as the Italian manager wants some additional reinforcements to plug the gap in his ranks. Serie A has always been his preferred choice of selection when it comes to targeting players. And it will not be an exception in the latest instance either.

Both Emerson Royal and Matt Doherty have had enough chances to prove their mettle for the North Londoners. But neither right-back has managed to gain the confidence of the Tottenham manager this season.

Wilfried Singo broke into the senior setup and has had some very promising performances already. The 21-year-old could develop into a lethal wing-back and Conte is ready to bet pretty big on him.

Torino have been working on his renewal strategy, but they will be open to the idea of letting the youngster leave if the right offer arrives. A sum in the region of €12 million should be enough to convince the Serie A club to part ways with the right-back.

Barcelona are also ready to get into the battle to land the Ivory Coast international. The right-back already has four senior caps for his country, and Barcelona are ready to pounce on him.

Tottenham will offload one of their current right-backs to make way for Singo. The Fabio Paratici-Antonio Conte combo already worked its magic in the summer, and they need to replicate that action in the winter. A prominent bid is on the way, as Tottenham cannot lose this opportunity to rope in one of the most highly-rated young defenders.
