Bayer Munich attacking midfielder Jamal Musiala has been linked with Premier League clubs, Liverpool and Manchester United.

According to a report from Fichajes, Liverpool and Manchester United are keeping tabs on Jamal Musiala. But Bayern Munich are prepared to offer the 19-year-old midfielder a new deal in order to fend off any interest.

Musiala has established himself as a key player for the German club since joining them, and he has been exceptional for them this season. The 19-year0old has 12 goals and 10 assists to his name across all competitions he is expected to develop into a world-class footballer with coaching and experience. It is no surprise that the top Premier League clubs are looking to secure his services.

However, the German international has a long-term contract with Bayern Munich and they are looking to offer him a pay rise and an extension. It makes complete sense for the German club to reward Musiala with a lucrative deal, given his performance this season.

Musiala was a key player for Germany at the 2022 FIFA World Cup as well. But he could not prevent his country from crashing out of the competition in the group stages. The midfielder will now look to focus on club football and help Bayer Munich finish the season strongly and win the major trophies.

The 19-year-old is already a key player at Bayern Munich, and they have handled his development exceptionally well since joining. There is no reason why the player would want to leave Bayern Munich right now.

Although Liverpool and Manchester United could use a quality attacking presence like him, they are unlikely to be able to attempt to German club into selling their prized prospect anytime soon. While Musiala might return to England in the near future, the suitors will probably face an extended wait to secure his signing.

Apart from his creativity and goalscoring qualities, the youngster is a highly intelligent footballer, who can play a number of positions in the final third. Furthermore, his technical ability has been crucial to the German club creating chances for their other attackers in the final third.

The player will look to continue his development as a footballer with regular game time at the Bavarian club, and it will be interesting to see if he can fulfil his world-class potential with them over the coming seasons. The 19-year-old German international is also a target for Real Madrid, apart from Liverpool and Manchester United.
