Liverpool are reportedly interested in prodigious Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala.

According to Florian Plettenberg on Twitter, Premier League giants Liverpool are interested in securing the services of Bayern Munich prodigy Jamal Musiala.

The youngster came through the ranks at Chelsea before moving to the Bundesliga in 2020. He initially spent time with Bayern Munich II before moving up to the senior side. Despite his tender age, Musiala has taken to life at the Allianz Arena like a fish to water.

Musiala is today an automatic starter for Die Roten and continues to see his reputation rise by the day. With seven goals and six assists in 12 appearances across all competitions this season, the youngster has been a major player for the Bundesliga champions.

Capable of playing in midfield and also as a number 10 or a left winger, Musiala is a versatile talent. This makes him an excellent fit for a Liverpool team that employs a free-flowing frontline. The Reds are need to rebuild their side, and it is no surprise that the 19-year-old has caught their eye.

Liverpool, however, are yet to make a move for the German international. Even if they do, it is unlikely that they will have a free shot at landing the Bayern Munich wonderkid. Musiala is a prodigious talent and naturally, several top teams from across Europe are keen on his services.

Not that it will help the Reds much either, given that Musiala is keen to stay on at the Allianz Arena. The 19-year-old has not just settled in well but is already at a side that is competing for the top prizes in European football. There is little Liverpool or any other side can offer him that he already does not have at Bayern.

Die Roten, too, are not keen to sell the youngster, and a parting of the ways is not on the cards. Julian Nagelsmann’s squad is filled with several young players, and Musiala has the chance to make a name for himself at one of European football’s historical clubs.

Landing Jude Bellingham and Musiala would be a massive show of intent by Liverpool. However, at this stage, it will take a mammoth effort to land just one of the duo, let alone both. For now, Musiala’s future lies in the Bundesliga, and other clubs can only watch on as he continues to dazzle viewers with his ability on the ball.
