Chelsea plot an exchange offer for Bayern Munich star winger Kingsley Coman and are willing to send Christian Pulisic the other way.

According to Fichajes, Chelsea are plotting a swap deal involving Christian Pulisic to prise Bayern Munich man Kingsley Coman. Graham Potter is reportedly keen on the 26-year-old winger, as the Blues are somewhat lacking in wide attacking areas this season.

Chelsea is moving in the transfer window as new owner Todd Boehly is keen to build a super team in the next few windows. The American is keen to strengthen the squad and bring in some of the best players around the continent.

After reports emerged of a possible agreement for Christopher Nkunku, Chelsea are on the trail of several other high-profile stars. The likes of Rafael Leao remain linked, while there could be more players in the pipeline. While incomings are expected to arrive in January, a few notable names could also depart.

There are some players unhappy with their situation at the club. Christian Pulisic is one of the high-profile names on this list, as the American is open to an exit. The USMNT star was not afforded ample playing time in the first part of the season, and there seems to be no future under Graham Potter.

There are quite a few clubs keen on the USMNT star, but Chelsea will ponder carefully before allowing him to depart. The club are set to hold crunch talks with the forward ahead of the January window.

The latest story suggests Chelsea could offer Pulisic in a swap deal for Kingsley Coman. There were rumours of Bayern Munich holding an interest in the USMNT star, but there could be doubts about whether they would let Coman leave the club.

Coman is considered a key part of Julian Nagelsmann’s plans at the club and remains an important player in the system. Bayern rewarded him with a new contract in January that keeps him on board until 2027. Yet, they may not allow him to leave on a dry swap deal and certainly look for a huge sum of money.

Pulisic is unwanted at Chelsea, but Coman’s status is slightly different. While the Frenchman is not a bonafide starter with the Bavarians, he certainly is a key part of the side ahead of the second phase of this season.

Coman would look at an opportunity such as Chelsea and may even ponder a decision on his future. While he has achieved everything with Bayern at the club level, a new challenge may appeal to the Frenchman, especially with a Premier League giant.
