Endrick, a target for Barcelona and Real Madrid, reportedly wants to join Chelsea as he is keen on playing in the Premier League.

According to a report by ESPN, Chelsea might have become the front-runners to sign Endrick in 2024. The Brazilian wonderkid wants to move to the west London club when he leaves Palmeiras as he wants to play in the Premier League. He is also a target for Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Endrick has become the talk of the town in the transfer market on the back of scintillating age-defying performances. The 16-year-old is already a member of Palmeiras’s first-team squad. In doing so, he has become the youngest club in the club’s history. And after finding the back of the net in Serie A, Endrick became the second-youngest scorer in the history of Brazil’s first division.

The Brazilian wonderkid already has three goals and one assist in 307 minutes of game-time for Palmeiras. So it is hardly surprising that some of Europe’s most high-profile clubs are keen on signing Endrick in 2024. And three of his prospective suitors are Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Chelsea.

Barcelona will need to lay down a succession plan for Robert Lewandowski despite signing the Pole this past summer. That is because the veteran striker is approaching the final phase of his career and is only a short-term solution for Barcelona. So Endrick has emerged as a viable target for Barcelona.

As for Real Madrid, the Merengues have a rich history of poaching talented attackers from Brazil. Two of Los Blancos’ current pivotal figures came from the same route, with Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo Goes becoming top-class performers for them. And recent reports have claimed that Real Madrid will soon look to finalise Endrick’s signing.

But the presence of Chelsea is proving to be a thorn in Barcelona and Real Madrid’s sides. Recent reports claimed the Blues gave the 16-year-old the red carpet treatment to tempt him. And according to ESPN, Endrick wants to join Chelsea when he leaves Palmeiras as he wants to play in the Premier League.

The report adds that the west Londoners are ready to pay the €60 million that Palmeiras will demand to part ways with Endrick. And with things falling into place for Chelsea, Barcelona and Real Madrid will have to step up considerably to secure his services.
