Real Madrid, Chelsea, and Liverpool are reportedly tracking the progress of 24-year-old Mexican winger Alexis Vega.

According to a report by Give Me Sport, Alexis Vega has emerged on the radar of several big clubs in Europe. Real Madrid, Chelsea, and Liverpool will closely monitor the Mexican winger at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Alexis Vega spent his formative years in Mexico before graduating from the Club Deportivo Toluca academy half a dozen years ago. But the 24-year-old has risen in stature since joining Deportivo Guadalajara four years ago. And he is now one of the best wide attackers in Europe, establishing himself as a pivotal figure for the Goats.

The Mexican winger has enjoyed a solid season thus far, chipping in with three goals and four assists in 18 appearances. Vega’s exploits have not gone unnoticed either, with several high-profile clubs keen on signing him. And according to Give Me Sport, Real Madrid, Chelsea, and Liverpool are tracking his progress.

Real Madrid will likely offload Eden Hazard in the 2023 summer transfer window, with the Belgian international enduring another forgettable season thus far. And replacing Hazard with a player on the rise seems like a wise idea. Vega has thus emerged as a viable target for Real Madrid amid links with others, like Son Heung-min.

As for Chelsea, Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic face uncertain futures at Stamford Bridge, with the former out of favour with Graham Potter. With at least one of the two players likely to leave, Chelsea can target someone like Vega. The Blues will thus monitor the 24-year-old winger at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Meanwhile, Liverpool might invest in a wide attacker after failing to aptly replace Sadio Mane in the summer. Several players, including Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, have emerged on the Reds’ radar. And Vega is also an option worth considering for Liverpool heading into the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The 24-year-old Mexican winger will likely be a regular for El Tri at the World Cup. And clubs like Real Madrid, Chelsea, and Liverpool will come calling if he makes an impression. It will be interesting to see how Vega fares in Qatar.
