Arsenal, Aston Villa, and Everton could wage a battle for the signature of Samuel Chukwueze, who has the characteristics to succeed in the Premier League.

According to Fichajes, Aston Villa could battle Everton and Arsenal in the chase for Samuel Chukwueze. The Villarreal winger could succeed in the Premier League as the English clubs chase the winger next summer.

Aston Villa’s appointment of former Arsenal and Villarreal manager Unai Emery can help them get a few notable names in the market. The Spanish manager is already on the task to strengthen the squad as per his requirements.

He may have to wait until January or next summer to get some of his former Villarreal players. There are links emerging to a few. Yeremy Pino is on Aston Villa’s list of wingers, and now Emery could add Samuel Chukwueze’s name to his notes.

Emery had benefitted from the Nigerian’s prowess in the last two seasons. The Nigerian winger was a regular in La Liga under the new Aston Villa boss, who could seek a reunion with the 23-year-old.

Villa have lacked in wide areas, and their current stars always run the risk of injury. Leon Bailey, who starred during Aston Villa’s win against Manchester United on Sunday, has struggled with fitness. Emery trusts his old stars but may face competition to sign them in the next windows.

As for the chase of Chukwueze, Villa could battle Everton and Arsenal in the market. Mikel Arteta is keen on signing a wide attacker to shore up his options, and the Villarreal winger may become a target. The Gunners have various names on their shortlist, including Mykhaylo Mudryk, Yeremy Pino, and Cody Gakpo.

Chukwueze’s strengths are his pace and reliability in the attacking third. Arteta seeks those attributes in the new winger target. Hence, Arsenal could approach La Liga giants Villarreal with an offer. Whether that is in January or next summer remains the question. As for Everton, Frank Lampard could do with a new wide attacker, thus explaining the interest in Chukwueze.

A battle between Aston Villa, Everton, and Arsenal could prove interesting for Chukwueze. The Nigerian winger’s contract is up in 2024, and he could look to depart Villarreal and La Liga altogether by next summer.
