La Liga heavyweights Real Madrid are reportedly readying an offer to sign 16-year-old Brazilian wonderkid Endrick.

According to a report by Spanish publication MARCA, Real Madrid will soon present a bid to sign Endrick from Palmeiras. The 16-year-old wonderkid is also a target for Paris Saint-Germain, who recently submitted an offer to secure his services.

Endrick has been the talk of the town in Brazilian football this year. The teenage prodigy burst onto the scene following his exploits at Copinha, one of the most prestigious youth events in the world. And the player’s stature has skyrocketed since making his first-team debut for Palmeiras.

The 16-year-old made his Palmeiras bow against Coritiba earlier this month and has taken little time to make his mark. Endrick already has two goals and one assist in just 106 minutes of game time. And his exploits have captured the attention of several European bigwigs, including Real Madrid and PSG.

Real Madrid first set sights on Endrick following his exploits at Copinha. And they have continued to closely monitor his progress at Palmeiras this year. Recent reports have also claimed that the Merengues are making progress in discussions to secure the services of the 16-year-old Brazilian wonderkid.

With Karim Benzema on the wrong side of 30, Endrick appears to be the ideal candidate to succeed the Frenchman at Real Madrid. And the reigning La Liga champions are responding to recent claims of a bid from PSG by preparing their own offer.

Like Real Madrid, PSG will have to sign a long-term solution in the final third amid uncertainties surrounding the future of Kylian Mbappe. In addition, Neymar and Lionel Messi are on the wrong side of 30, with the former’s situation up in the air. So Les Parisiens will have to plan for a new striker, with Endrick emerging as a viable target.

Apart from Real Madrid and PSG, every big club in Europe is keenly monitoring Endrick’s progress. The 16-year-old Brazilian wonderkid is becoming a hot property in the market. But the impending offer from Real Madrid could determine where Endrick ends up when he moves to Europe. However, a transfer will only be possible in 2024 when he turns 18.
