Barcelona and Real Madrid will need to shell out €70 million to secure the services of Brazilian wonderkid Endrick.

According to a report by Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo, Endrick will not come cheap, with Palmeiras likely to demand €70 million to part ways with him. Barcelona and Real Madrid are among the clubs that are keen on signing the Brazilian wonderkid.

Endrick Felipe Moreira de Sousa, better known as Endrick, is one of the hottest properties in the transfer market despite still being in his teens. The 16-year-old burst into the limelight after his exploits in the Copinha, one of the most prestigious age-group competition in the world.

The Brazilian wonderkid is already representing Palmeiras’s under-20 side despite only being 16 years old. Endrick has also turned out for Brazil at different age-group levels. And his performances have captured the attention of several European bigwigs. Barcelona and Real Madrid are two of his prospective suitors.

Recent reports have claimed that Endrick is in talks with Barcelona. And the Blaugrana will look to steal a march on bitter rival Real Madrid after facing defeat while pursuing Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo Goes. In addition, with Ferran Torres struggling to make his mark at Camp Nou, Endrick is a viable target.

But while the Brazilian wonderkid will be a handy candidate to form a long-term attacking core for Barcelona, the interest from Real Madrid will leave the Blaugrana concerned. Recent reports have also suggested that the Merengues lead the race to sign the 16-year-old.

Karim Benzema has been in the form of his life for several years. But Real Madrid president Florentino Perez will be aware that the Frenchman is well into his thirties. Endrick is thus a viable target for Los Blancos. But Real Madrid and Barcelona will have to pay big sign the youngster, with Palmeiras demanding €70 million.

Shelling out €70 million might not be a problem for Real Madrid. But Barcelona’s frail finances might stop them from paying such an amount to sign Endrick. However, one cannot rule out the Blaugrana from the equation, as clubs battle it out to sign the Brazilian wonderkid.
