French giants Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly been offered the chance to sign struggling Chelsea forward Romelu Lukaku in the summer.
According to a report by But! Football Club, Romelu Lukaku could leave Chelsea in the summer transfer window, either on loan or a permanent deal. The Belgian forward has been offered to Paris Saint-Germain, with Chelsea prepared to offload him for around €50 million.
Romelu Lukaku’s second coming at Chelsea has not gone to plan, as he has managed a sub-par tally of 11 goals and two assists in 31 appearances across all competitions. The Belgian international also brought a lot of heat upon himself after an explosive interview in which he hinted that he was not enjoying himself as much as he envisioned.
Recent reports have claimed that Lukaku is determined to stay put at Chelsea and succeed at Stamford Bridge. But according to But! Football Club, Lukaku could leave the club in the summer transfer window to resurrect his career. The mountain of sanctions on the Blues could force his hand further.
Lukaku has recently been heavily linked with Atletico Madrid, but France could be his next destination. The struggling Belgian forward’s representatives have offered him to PSG over a possible move in the summer transfer window.
Chelsea would demand around €50 million to part with Lukaku – a significantly lower amount compared to what they paid to land him last summer. A loan could also be an option for PSG to consider, giving Lukaku a ray of hope if he is desperate to leave Chelsea.
PSG will need to sign a top-class attacker in the summer transfer window, as Kylian Mbappe is edging closer to joining Real Madrid. While Lukaku will not be a like-for-like replacement, the struggling Chelsea forward is a natural goalscorer and will ease the distress of losing someone like Mbappe.

But Lukaku’s wages could be a problem for PSG, who might not be open to match the salary he currently earns at Chelsea. That said, if the 29-year-old is ready to take home a lower pay package, a move to PSG could be possible.
