Eden Hazard is looking forward to play with the best players at Stamford Bridge, next season, while refusing to comment on Lukaku’s possiblee transfer to Chelsea FC.

Romelu Lukaku has become the center of attention, once again, after his fantastic display for Belgium against Republic of Ireland. Lukaku scored a brace as Belgium won the match 3-0, effectively all but ensuring their place in the round of 16.

When the media questioned Hazard about the prospect of him reuniting with his fellow countryman Lukaku at Chelsea, he chose to stay away from the speculation.

According to a report by Sky Sports, hazard refused to talk about his good friend Lukaku, suggesting that it’s better that the decision be left to Lukaku alone.

Hazard told Sky Sports News HQ: “I don’t know, I don’t want to talk about this. But Romelu is a big striker, he’s a good guy and a good friend of mine.

“It’s always good to play with the best in the world.”

Although, the 23-year-old is currently on contract with Everton till 2019, Lukaku has admitted that he desires to leave the club for other opportunities in England. Having joined Chelsea in 2011, he was loaned to West Bromwich Albion in 2012 and then to Everton in 2013.

After having a successful season at Everton, the Merseyside club signed the player for a club record £28 million. However, despite having good goal scoring spells at Everton for 2 years, the Belgian failed to perform in key games.

The investment in Lukaku is a considerable risk for Chelsea

Everton have been very adamant, in the recent past, about selling their star players at a discounted fee. The Toffees have held on to John Stones, despite of repeated attmepts made by Chelsea and Man United to sign the defender.

At the moment, Everton are not willing to let Romelu Lukaku leave, unless the interested club is willing to meet their valuation. Chelsea will have to shell a massive £65 million, which will be a new British transfer record, if Roman Abramovich decides to land the Belgian.

Chelsea fans, however, have opinions devided on the striker.

The fans who want him to come back, see him as a long-term prospect for the club. On the other hand, there is a fraction of fans who believe that investing £65 million in Lukaku is a big risk, when there are better strikers available in the market for a lesser fee.

The Lukaku conundrum, however, will have to be solved by Antonio Conte as he takes charge of his Chelsea squad next month.
