Mateo Kovacic and Mason Mount return to the starting eleven, but Mykhaylo Mudryk is on the Chelsea bench for the game against Southampton at Stamford Bridge.

Graham Potter has made an array of changes as Chelsea get set to play hosts to Southampton at Stamford Bridge. There are no shuffles in the goal, with Kepa Arrizabalaga picking himself between the sticks.

The first changes come in the defensive unit. But interestingly, Marc Cucurella is not even in the matchday squad. And Ben Chilwell is fit to start, despite suffering a knock on his ankle earlier this week against Borussia Dortmund. As for the changes, Benoit Badiashile replaces Thiago Silva, while Cesar Azpilicueta comes in for Reece James. Kalidou Koulibaly retains his spot as the centre-back.

Up ahead in midfield, Mateo Kovacic returns to the starting eleven after completing his recovery from a recent injury. Ruben Loftus-Cheek has dropped out of the matchday squad altogether. And Kovacic lines up alongside Enzo Fernandez in the double pivot in the middle of the park.

The offensive unit also sees a gamut of changes. And Joao Felix is the only player to retain his spot in the final third. Kai Havertz, Mykhaylo Mudryk drop to the bench, while Hakim Ziyech is not even in the matchday squad. And David Datro Fofana, Mason Mount, and Noni Madueke replace the trio in the starting eleven.

Chelsea Starting Lineup: Kepa, Azpilicueta, Koulibaly, Badiashile, Chilwell, Enzo Fernandez, Kovacic, Madueke, Joao Felix, Mount, David Fofana
