Victor Lindelof and Donny van de Beek will start when Manchester United and Real Sociedad face off at the Reale Arena in the UEFA Europa League.

Erik ten Hag has made three changes to the side that started in the 1-0 win over West Ham United as Manchester United get set to lock horns with Real Sociedad in a UEFA Europa League group stage clash at the Reale Arena.

There are no shuffles in goal, with David de Gea retaining his place between the sticks. The first change comes in the defensive unit, with Victor Lindelof replacing Harry Maguire. Lindelof pairs up with Lisandro Martinez at the heart of the Manchester United defence. Diogo Dalot and Luke Shaw continue as the two full-backs.

Manchester United might line up in a 4-3-3 formation, with ten Hag handing Donny van de Beek a start. The Dutch midfielder will partner Casemiro and Christian Eriksen in the middle of the park.

Marcus Rashford and Anthony Elanga drop to the bench, with Alejandro Garnacho replacing the former. Garnacho, Bruno Fernandes and Cristiano Ronaldo form the offensive trident, with van de Beek likely to have offensive responsibilities.

Manchester United Starting Lineup: de Gea, Dalot, Lindelof, Martinez, Shaw, van de Beek, Casemiro, Eriksen, Bruno Fernandes, Ronaldo, Garnacho
