Kepa Arrizabalaga replaces Edouard Mendy in goal, while Kai Havertz starts in attack as Chelsea prepare to take on Arsenal at Stamford Bridge.

Thomas Tuchel has made seven changes to the side that started in the 2-1 win over Manchester City, as Chelsea get set to play hosts to Arsenal at Stamford Bridge. The first shuffle comes in goal, with Kepa Arrizabalaga handed a rare chance to impress in place of Edouard Mendy.

In front of Kepa, Chelsea seem to be set up in their usual 3-4-2-1 formation, with the three-man central defensive unit seeing a couple of changes, one of which is forced. Thiago Silva and Kurt Zouma have been recalled, with the duo replacing Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger. Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta is the third centre-back.

Up ahead in midfield, Billy Gilmour continues to amass valuable game-time, but N’Golo Kante has been given a bit of a breather, with Jorginho starting in the Frenchman’s stead. On the right flank, there is no looking past Reece James, but Ben Chilwell does return as the left wing-back, coming in for Marcos Alonso.

The last two changes come in attack, where Christian Pulisic is the only player keeping hold of his spot. Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner, though, drop to the bench, with Mason Mount and Kai Havertz returning to the Chelsea attacking unit after being rested last time out against Manchester City.

Chelsea Confirmed Lineup: Kepa, Azpilicueta, Silva, Zouma, James, Gilmour, Jorginho, Chilwell, Mount, Havertz, Pulisic
