Roberto Firmino has returned to the starting lineup while Andrew Robertson is fit to start as Liverpool prepare to take on Napoli in the UEFA Champions League.

Jurgen Klopp has made three changes to the side that beat Newcastle United this past weekend as Liverpool get set to begin the defence of their UEFA Champions League crown against Napoli at San Paolo.

There are no changes at the back, with Adrian keeping his place in the Liverpool goal, while Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joel Matip, Virgil van Dijk and Andrew Robertson comprise the back four. Crucially for the Reds, Robertson is fit enough to start after he missed training on Monday.

Up ahead in midfield, there are two changes, with Fabinho the only player keeping his place from the weekend. Jordan Henderson and James Milner have returned to the starting lineup, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Georginio Wijnaldum making way for the English duo.

The final change of the night comes in attack, with Roberto Firmino replacing Divock Origi. Firmino will reprise the false nine role, with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane completing the lineup for Liverpool.

Liverpool Starting XI: Adrian; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, van Dijk, Robertson; Milner, Fabinho, Henderson; Salah, Firmino, Mane
