Four different players found the back of the net, as a rampant Belgium sealed a spot in the quarterfinals at the expense of an overwhelmed Hungarian side.

Belgium put on a sensational performance as they put 4 goals past the helpless Hungarians to secure a spot in the quarter-finals of the European Championships. Chelsea’s Eden Hazard was the star of the show, scoring one and setting up setting up another for Marseille’s Michy Batshuayi.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld opened the scoring for De Rode Duivels after Manchester City’s Kevin de Bruyne won a freekick, he put in an excellent cross into the box for Alderweireld to head it home.

Kevin de Bruyne got an opportunity to make it 0-2, but his brilliant freekick wasn met by an equally brilliant save from Hungarian shot-stopper Gabor Kiraly. The 40-year-old managed to get his fingertips to it and tipped it onto the crossbar.

Kiraly was forced to make another inspiring save, after Hazard cut in from the wing and unleashed a thunderbolt into the top corner.

It would be late in the second half before Kilany would be beaten again, and it would come via Michy Batshuayi. The young striker was set up wonderfully by Hazard and it was an easy finish for the Marseille hitman.

Then a few minutes later, Hazard did this.

Belgium didn’t hold back till the very end, as Atletico Madrid’s Yannick Carrasco was put through by AS Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan, who finished with aplomb, to end Hungary’s dream run and send the Belgium fans behind the goal into ecstasy.
