Gameweek 18 of the Premier League is upon us, and we look at some of the potential outcomes from this week’s thrilling battles including the high-octane Liverpool vs Arsenal clash.

Crystal Palace vs Brighton

This will be a difficult fixture for them away from home, and Aston Villa are likely to continue their impressive run of form with a home win. The visitors have conceded at least twice in 13 of their last 16 league matches, and it would not be a surprise if Aston Villa won with a comprehensive margin.

West Ham vs Manchester United

West Ham United host Manchester United In the Premier League on Saturday afternoon. The Hammers are coming into this scheme on the back of three wins from their last four matches across all competitions, and they will be reasonably confident of grinding out a positive result at home. A win here would take them above Manchester United in the table, and they will look to push for Europa League qualification this season.

Fulham vs Burnley

The West London side have won four of their last six matches across all competitions, and they will fancy their chances of picking up all three points against Burnley. Meanwhile, the away side are 19th in the league table with just two wins this season.

They are winless in five of their last six matches across all competitions and this will be a difficult outing for them. Fulham have the quality and momentum to take them past Saturday’s opposition.

Luton Town vs Newcastle United

Luton Town take on Newcastle United in the Premier League this Saturday, and they will look to break their losing streak at home. The Hatters are 18th in the league table, and they have lost four of their last five league matches.

Newcastle, on the other hand, are going through a difficult run of form as well. They are coming into this game on the back of a defeat against Chelsea in the English League Cup. The Magpies have now lost four of their last five matches across all competitions, and they will be desperate to get back to winning ways.

Everton have been outstanding since the points deduction, and they have won five of their last six Premier League matches. They are on a four-match winning run in the Premier League and will look to grind out a positive result here. Tottenham have been vulnerable in recent weeks because of their injury problems, and Everton could trouble them here.

Everton have scored at least twice in their last three league matches, and they are up against Tottenham side that has conceded 10 goals in the last six matches across all competitions. A high-scoring game seems likely.

Liverpool vs Arsenal

Liverpool host Arsenal on Saturday night in a blockbuster Premier League clash. Arsenal are currently on top of the league table with Liverpool just one point a drift of them in second place. Both teams are in similar form and this should be a cracking contest.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have picked up two consecutive victories across all competitions, and they will look to put together a winning run now. They are currently tenth in the league table and will have to improve immensely if they want to secure Champions League qualification. Chelsea should be winning games like these, but it will not be an easy contest away from home.

Wolves are unbeaten in five of their last six matches against Chelsea in all competitions. This is likely to be a close contest. But the Blues should be able to fix their poor record against Wolves with a positive result away from home this week.
