Arsenal and Manchester City tipped to make a move for Jorrel Hato

Suleyman Ozturk has tipped Arsenal and Manchester City to make a move for Jorrel Hato in the future after the defender’s Ajax start.

Ajax are known to develop players well, and in recent years, they have produced plenty of talents worth a lot of money. They illustrated their power with mega sales of stars like Antony to Manchester United, among others.

They also sold Jurrien Timber to Arsenal in a relatively big move, but the defender’s unfortunate injury earlier in the season will see him miss. They have replaced his quality by bringing 17-year-old defensive prodigy Jorrel Hato through.

Hato may not represent Timber’s profile, but he is a left-footed versatile defender specialised in playing centrally. Despite Ajax’s disastrous season, the 17-year-old defensive prodigy has started and played all games without getting substituted.

His influence in this Ajax team has already attracted Liverpool’s interest in the defender, with Jurgen Klopp eager to invest in a left-footed defender for the future. As Hato continues to grow in this Ajax side, there are chances of a big money move later, with journalist Suleyman Ozturk already naming some clubs who could join the hunt.

As per Ozturk, Arsenal and Manchester City could come in for Hato in the future, and in his comments on Soccer News Netherlands, he thinks Hato should be valued at more than €100 million.

Ozturk said, “Hato won’t turn eighteen until March and has already worn the captain’s armband. He has also already made his national team debut… The calm he maintains during his goal shows that he comes from a certain education,.”

“He reminds me a bit of Jurriën Timber when he has the ball. The ease with which he plays football and he is not too tall: 182 centimeters. He is not a colossus of a defender, but based on his technique he knows how to move effortlessly.”

“If he continues to develop like this, Arsenal and Manchester City will also look. It represents a value of one hundred million euros. He may become the first player that Ajax sells for more than €100 million.
From a future perspective, Hato has shown seriousness in the game, which could make him a big star ahead.

Manchester City is a club constantly looking to upgrade their talent, including buying young emerging stars. They showed that by spending big on Josko Gvardiol, they may remain open to investing in more stars like that.

Similarly, Arsenal are also looking at signing promising defenders for the future, and Hato could represent a solid purchase. Now, with suggestions of 100 million or more, the Gunners may not have that kind of money, although Manchester City would.
