Napoli will demand €100 million to part ways with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, with Chelsea ahead of Real Madrid in the race to sign him.
According to a report by Italian outlet Calciomercato, Chelsea and Real Madrid are interested in Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. The Blues are the front-runners to secure the services of the Napoli winger. Meanwhile, the Serie A champions want €100 million to sell the 22-year-old winger next year.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has established himself as one of the best wingers in Serie A since joining Napoli from Dinamo Batumi last year. The Georgian international took no time to establish a foothold at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium. And he was instrumental as the Partenopei won the Scudetto in the 2022/23 season.
Kvaratskhelia’s exploits have also carried over to the international stage, as he has managed 15 goals in 28 appearances. Meanwhile, the 22-year-old started the 2023/24 season poorly but has recovered to amass four goals and five assists in 16 appearances this term. But the youngster faces an uncertain future at the Serie A club.
The player’s progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of many high-profile clubs, including Manchester City. The report also mentions Chelsea and Real Madrid as Kvaratskhelia’s prospective suitors. Meanwhile, Napoli will demand around €100 million to part ways with the young attacker.
Real Madrid’s interest in Kvaratskhelia is somewhat surprising, considering Vinicius Junior is not going anywhere anytime soon. With the Georgian winger reprising a role similar to the Brazilian international, he might not have a spot to grab. So, it does not make sense for Real Madrid to sign the Napoli star, and they should instead direct funds to land a striker.
As for Chelsea, the Blues have several wide attackers in the first team squad. But with Raheem Sterling and Mykhailo Mudryk vying for the left-wing berth, Kvaratskhelia might not have an open spot to occupy. However, that does not deter Chelsea, with the Blues leading the race to sign him.

Chelsea should be financially adept enough to afford to pay €100 million to secure Kvaratskhelia’s services. But Real Madrid can also pay such a sum, meaning the race to sign the 22-year-old from Napoli should be intriguing.
