Michael Olise agrees personal terms with Chelsea

Crystal Palace midfielder Michael Olise has been linked with a move to Chelsea this summer, and he has agreed personal terms with them.

Chelsea are hoping to bring in attacking reinforcements, and they have identified Michael Olise the 21-year-old winger as a potential target. And according to The Secret Scout, the Blues have already agreed personal terms with the 21-year-old playmaker, although they are yet to agree on a fee with Crystal Palace.

It will be interesting to see if Crystal Palace are willing to sanction his departure, especially in the same window where they have lost Wilfried Zaha. Olise was a key player for Crystal Palace last season, producing a tally of two goals and 11 assists across all competitions.

His departure will certainly weaken the Eagles going forward, and it remains to be seen how the situation develops. Crystal Palace are likely to demand a premium for him if they are forced to part with his services. Meanwhile, recent reports have claimed that Chelsea have submitted a verbal offer to sign him.

Meanwhile, Chelsea need to add more quality in the final third. But they have a number of options at their disposal already, and it will be interesting to see how they accommodate Olise in the starting lineup.

Players like Noni Madueke will be hoping to play regularly this term. So Pochettino will have to shuffle his squad consistently in order to ensure that every player gets ample game time. Meanwhile, Olise is a prodigious young talent with a massive future ahead of him. And he has all the attributes to develop into a top-class Premier League player.

Moving to Chelsea would be a major step up in his career, and he would get to test himself at a high level. So it is hardly surprising that the French playmaker has agreed personal terms with the West London club.

Although the Blues will not be playing in the UEFA Champions League this season, they are still one of the biggest clubs in the world and have the resources and the squad to compete for major trophies. Olise will want to prove himself with Chelsea if the move goes through.

Furthermore, the 21-year-old would get to work under a coach like Mauricio Pochettino, who has a proven track record of nurturing young players. He helped develop a number of young talents during his time at Espanyol, Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur. The Argentine manager could play a key role in the development of the 21-year-old Frenchman next season.
