As per Football Insider, the Croatian midfielder could be sold for a fee of around £40-50 million during the summer transfer window, and he is set to hold showdown talks with Chelsea regarding his future amid interest from Manchester United.
The 28-year-old has been a key player for Chelsea since joining them from Real Madrid, and he is undoubtedly one of the best midfielders in the Premier League. His departure would weaken Chelsea severely, and the Blues should look to keep him at the club for as long as possible.

It is understandable why the German outfit are keen on signing the 28-year-old.
